Company Program - A Student Venture (In-School)

Open Doors to Business Excellence
Hand over the keys to success. A prosperous community and strong economy is in the hands of our future entrepreneurs and leaders of well-managed companies. Company Program – A Student Venture inspires high school students to understand the role of business in our society by creating an enterprise of their own.
The Company Program – A Student Venture is often a student’s first step in fostering the skills necessary to be an entrepreneur. The unique opportunity allows high school students to engage in a team-based approach to the entrepreneurial process; they establish and run their own business in a secure school environment.
By working through a complete business cycle, students experience both the risks and rewards of entrepreneurship. They search for venture ideas, manipulate those ideas into a viable business opportunity, plan their venture, finance it and, finally, produce and market a product or service. While introducing career opportunities, CP-SV also develops skills in basic workforce-readiness, critical thinking, communication, teamwork, entrepreneurship and leadership.
